What are the functions of waterproof and permeable functional fabrics? The use of waterproof fabric? What does the waterproof and moisture permeable fabric mean?
2, TPU film
TPU is the abbreviation of the thermoplastic polyurethane film, which belongs to the pore free hydrophilic film. Because the film itself has no pores, the waterproof effect is natural and good, at the same time, it also makes the fabric windproof and warm. The moisture permeability is mainly achieved through its hydrophilic characteristics. The steam is transferred from the high pressure to the low place by the difference of steam pressure inside and outside the clothing, thus achieving the function of moisture permeability. I have also been engaged in the production of TPU composite fabric for a long time, especially for some simple introductions.

6. Suitable for the fitting of various fabrics, such as knitted, woven, nonwoven fabrics, etc.
Now the most TPU composite fabrics on the market are as follows:
1, the four sides of the +TPU+ cashmere, which is often called SoftShell. The four sides are mainly 75D (for women's clothes) and 100D (for men's wear), and the main two kinds of cashmere are 75D/72F and 100D/144F. There are many styles, such as plain, twill, lattices and so on. Due to its waterproof, moisture permeable, windproof and warm keeping, the application scope is no longer limited to the ordinary outdoor sportswear. Many large foreign companies regard it as the staff's work clothes. 2, fiber woven fabric +TPU+Tricot (polyester warp knitted mesh cloth). The main spring weaving pongee, Taslan, Oxford cloth, peach skin, nylon taffeta etc.. Ordinary 228T can be used as the main material such as Taslan jackets and nylon fabrics; camouflage printing can do military clothing; fluorescent fabric can do police service tooling;
Introduction of testing methods for waterproof and moisture permeable fabrics
At the fabric exhibition in Shanghai, this kind of customer is often met with a composite fabric that needs waterproof and moisture permeable to 10000/10000. When I fainted, I have previously mentioned that the United States Gore fabric can reach the moisture content, the general TPU high permeability film three one (cloth + film + lining) can only reach 5000 of the amount of moisture. If the Sypamtex film in Porelle or Holland will have a higher moisture content, it will not reach 10000, and the prices of the imported films are also expensive. What about customer requirements so high? One possibility is that customers do not understand this, see the Gore clothes marked 10000/10000, to do such a high index; there is a possibility that some people do not understand the layman is often used, that is the different test methods.
What are the testing methods now? I have listed the way I hope you don't have to stick to it!
1. Control cup method
1.1 vapor permeation method
1.1.1 positive cup method
A, China National Standard: GB/T12704-91B
B, standard of the American Association for materials experiment: ASTME96ProduceBandD
C, Japanese industrial standard: JISL-1099A2
D, Canadian standard: (CGSB) -4.2No.49-99
E, British Standard: BS7209-1990
1.1.2 cup method (also called hygroscopic method)
A, standard of the American Association for materials experiment: ASTME96BW (1995 edition and 2000 EDITION)
1.2 desiccant method
1.2.1 positive cup method
A, China National Standard: GB/T12704-91A
B, Japanese industrial standard: JISL-1099A1
C, American Society for material testing standards: ASTME-96A, C, E
1.2.2 inverted cup method
A, Japanese industrial standard: JISL-1099B1, B2
B, standard of the American Society for material testing: ASTME-96
C, Belgium UCB standard: UCB method
D, British Standard: B.T.T.G method
2. Sweating hot plate method, also called skin model
A, ISO standard: ISO11092
B, test of fire protection clothing: NFPA1971
C, standard of the American Society for material testing: ASTMF1868-98B
D, German standard: DIN54010T01-A
3. Perspiration dummy method
The sweaty dummy is a bit like a hot plate, which is used to simulate the shape and size of a typical human body. Dummy test than sweating hot plate test has more practical significance, because it can consider more variables, including clothing surface area coverage of the human body, the body surface layers and layers of air distribution of textiles, loose or tight fit, the skin temperature difference in different parts of the human body, the body position and motion etc.. However, there is not a sweaty dummy that can test the thermal resistance of evaporation under dynamic conditions such as walking. Fashion clothing
At present, there are no design standards and testing steps for sweaty dummy. And because sweaty dummies are more complex and expensive, the cost of false people is higher than the hot plate method.
4. Other methods
A, Watkins method
B, Mernander method
C, Farnworth method
D, VanBeest method
E, Ruchman method
F, Gibson method
Let's get to know a few more useful ways:
1, the most commonly used methods: ASTME96BW, USA
